Nehad Saeed is an Egyptian visual artist born in Cairo, 1986. She graduated from
the Faculty of Fine Arts in 2009 with a Bachelor’s degree from the Graphic
Department and with a Master’s degree in 2015, “Freudian interpretations and their
impact on graphic works”. Saeed is interested in her work with mystery, time and its
relation to human feelings. She is always in search for a sense of inner peace and
acceptance in nature. Death and happiness in afterlife are among the main subjects
she is studying and expressing in her work. Saeed’s work has been widely exhibited
in Alexandria, Aswan, Cairo, Djerba, Gdańsk, Shanghai, Tangier and Vienna. She
has worked on many artistic collaborations with artists among which are Marcelo
Piňa Lorca and Perico Pastor. She coordinated the first and second editions of the
Drawing Festival of the Austrian Embassy in Cairo and participated in many Graphic
art Biennales in different countries.
